Substantial "Significant Improvement"

Tom Stellmach, Bill Casey’s Office Manager previously ran Microsoft Windows NT Server, says that since he had the system installed by A&W Consulting Group (A&W), he has noticed "significant improvement" in file and print services. He attributes this improvement both to Small Business Server 2008 and the hardware implemented.

 

A Robust & Solid Solution

He is particularly pleased with the improvements in internal e-mail delivery times his firm has experienced since shifting that capability away from an Internet Service Provider to Exchange Server 2007. What was "horrendous" is now "instantaneous."

As a user himself, William Daniels, A&W’s Owner, praises version 2008 for letting him do his work without having to worry about the performance of his own network. "I spend a lot of time setting up servers and networks, and the last thing I need is the hassle of worrying about how my internal infrastructure is set up," he comments.

 

Tom Stellmach notes that Small Business Server 2008 allows them to do their work without worrying about their servers. "It is a completely managed server," he notes. "You can lock it up in a closet and never physically touch it. Users have limited access to the server to prevent them from making inadvertent errors that can bring it down."
